Renae has had a busy few weeks of travel. Having just returned from her trip to Canada, she jetted off again recently to spend seven spectacular nights in beautiful Sri Lanka, getting a quick taste of this amazing country.
One of the major highlights was the wildlife safaris, with Renae and her tour group lucky to see so many animals in the wild, including the most amazing day witnessing over 200 elephants roaming free in the Minneriya National Park!
Other highlights throughout the week included climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress & a day of tea plucking and learning about the tea plantations near Nuwara Eliya (aka Little England due to the climate perfect for tea).
Ultimately Renae summed up her week in Sri Lanka with the following words;
This country is so special and is growing in popularity and visitations. What makes it so unique is the happy people and culture, rich in history, beaches and lovely resorts, local cuisine, beautiful countryside and plenty of fun activities.
Renae can’t wait to return one day soon to explore more of this magical island country, but for now please enjoy some great images taken throughout the week.
