In mid-summer August I travelled to Croatia for a week, flying into Split on the Adriatic Sea. I was amazed by this gateway city to the Pakleni Islands and cruise departures.

In early July, I joined Insight Vacations for a section of their Country Roads of Wales, Devon and Cornwall tour. If you have travelled with Insight before, you will know it is the “business class upgrade” of coach travel, with so much room to relax and enjoy the scenery. 

What an amazing opportunity I had last month to be able to attend the F1 at Silverstone in Britain. The weather was glorious and the crowd was enthusiastic, atmosphere was electric.

I have recently returned from and amazing holiday with my family to East Africa.

We arrived in Kathmandu and this certainly was an initial culture shock for our kids! The city is crazy, but the kids soon found their groove sightseeing, market shopping, bartering and learning some Nepalese phrases.

With public transport in Victoria being free for the moment, now is a great time to escape to Melbourne for the weekend and we have the perfect place.

Having just returned from 2 unforgettable weeks in the Philippines, I am so happy I finally got to tick this off my bucket list.

What a week exploring South Korea and all it has to offer, or as much as we could physically fit in to get a taste of this fabulous destination! I was certainly blown away by its people, amazing food, history and culture! So clean, and felt so safe!
